ISLAMABAD - President Dr. Arif Alvi Saturday visited various Jamia mosques in the twin urban communities and assessed the prudent steps to control the spread of coronavirus during supplications and Taraweeh.

As per an official statement, the president visited Jamia mosques at Murree street, Ghousia Saddar, Moti masjid Liaquat street, and Gulshan Dadan Khan and guided the Imams of the mosques to persuade the Nimazees over 50-years to offer their supplications at homes. On the event, the president focused on that the usage of preventive estimates was must control the spread of coronavirus contamination.

In his letter to Imams subsequent to visiting different mosques in Islamabad, he said point number six of the SoP solicits Nimazees from more than 50 years of age to abstain from coming to mosques for offering congregational petitions.

In any case, the president communicated fulfillment over the usage of 20-point Standard Operating Procedures by the organization of mosques.
